Dyson - Great products but sketchy customer service and sales tactics
Perfect fit for my Dyson V7 Car/Boat. Use the attachment for hard to reach places without having to bend, stretch or use a ladder.
Dyson makes high quality products. Both form and function well thought out. Products made from mid to high end materials and have quality finishes. Built and designed for consumer ease of use and maintenance.
However, Dyson customer service are either unfamiliar with the products or lie just to upsell you. I have the Dyson v7 car/boat. I needed an extension wand so I wouldn’t have to constantly bend or stretch for hard to reach places.
Called Dyson, gave them the model number for my unit, and asked for an extension wand that’ll fit . They claimed the extension wands were not made for the v7. They said I’d have to buy a new vacuum that comes with a wand. I rephrased the question, asked if they sold an extension wand as a replacement part that uses the same lock/release system that is able to fit with the unit I have. Multiple csr stated “no”. After searching, I came across this Ebay listing and the seller said it will fit and work with my unit. Two different replies, I need to verify, so I took one of the brush attachments to a local Target for a test, perfect fit.
