This a well made table that is attractive and functional
I'm impressed with the quality of this table. The pieces are well finished and assembly is quick and easy. I wish the table I bought was a little bigger but otherwise I think this is a very good value and would buy this product again. I still need to finish it but it looks like the table would take a stain well if I go that ought instead of painting it.

Could have been a great read, but alas it was not...
I grew up on NW 23rd Place between Vaughn and Thurman. I still frequent the area often. Regrettably, the place where my family's house once stood is a food cart pod now. Just plain shameful in my view.
So, I had high hopes for this book. I liked the forward, but the pictures left a lot to be desired. Having lived there through high school, I would have taken pictures of building that remain and wrote about what they used to be. For example, no mention was made that the Food COOP used to be one of many taverns in the area. No mention of Fisher's grocery store being on the corner of 24th and Thurman. No mention that the building across the street once housed a movie theater and a barber shop. No mention that the library used to be a cord curl factory. I could just go on and on.
