Comes with an uncoded transponder chip
1 of 1 found this helpful Seller confirmed by email: the transponder is NOT coded at all so you cannot marry this key with a Tech-2 without first having the transponder chip coded or cloned. Once that's done you might be OK.
The key blank and shell are OK, at least. I ended up getting a coded transponder without the key and using the key blank from this thing to complete the assembly.
