Small for 1/4" shock cord
We had extreme difficulty attaching these to some high-quality 1/4" shock cord. I don't know if the original Coleman shock cord was on the small side or what, but this cord wouldn't go in without a lot of fooling around stuffing it with a tiny screwdriver. And then the hook pulled off. I finally had success by drilling out the hooks to be slightly larger, then cauterizing our shock cord end with wire wrapped tightly around it to keep it to a small diameter. Removed the wire, and we were able to install the hooks! If I were to do this over again, I would look for hooks that can accommodate slightly larger cord than 1/4"... they will still grip the cord tightly and you'll have no installation hassles.

As good as they look
I've been using them for a couple of weeks, and these cables work perfectly, appear to be sturdy and very high quality. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they survived abuse better than my old cables.

Great hub, great price. Not the lightest, but very well made.
Just a lot of goodness for not a lot of money. Perfect if you're not into shaving grams.
