Many Features for Whole Home
1 of 1 found this helpful When we built a house for my mom and dad we included this unit, because I remember my grandparents have a in the wall radio unit, and I liked the idea of being able to hear music throughout the house. I liked that this unit could handle 4 pairs of speakers; so we put them in the master bedroom, living room, front porch, and back deck. This unit didn't come with volume controls, but I got those from Home Depot, so each pair/room can have the volume controlled separately. It's nice for relaxing, family gatherings, and my mom really likes it for playing Christmas music (non-stop :) ). I also liked that it could get AM/FM, USB thumb drive, or Bluetooth (so she can play holiday favorites from Pandora off her phone). The only down side of the unit is the touch screen isn't as responsive as I'd like and it can leave you needing to press a control twice. Also, the touch screen appears polarized, so it can be difficult to view at and angle. Mom is shorter, so it works great for her. I'm taller, so I have to squat a little to see the screen fully. There are not many choices out there for 4 zones and multiple input options, but this one has worked well for us.

Great product. I'm very satisfied.
Love it! I like that it's direct drive, as it appears much more secure than a string pulled model. It's easy to operate, low profie, and easy to install. I left it with the default settings and it's closing shortly after dusk. All the chickens are going in with 10 - 15 minutes to spare; so, it's nice to be able to adjust to a later closing if I need to. I was having an issue with predators beating me into the coop before I could close up, especially in the winter, after daylight savings. Now, I've got the peace of mind in knowing the girls are all in.
