great book, on-the-mark history
Janette Oke is a superb storyteller and fantastic historian, and I've never seen it more accurately displayed than in this book. A+ storytelling and adventure!

Great book from an author I'm really enjoying
Picked this book up after reading Grothe's newer book "the Power of Place". Excellent prose and thoughtful approach on a subject that our world could use a lot more of; how to grow and experience life-transforming wisdom! I highly recommend it.
