Sellers: reset to factory settings before shipping
Roku makes it pretty easy to set up and have all your standard channels show up on the new device once it is linked to your account. Speaking of which...Note to sellers: reset Roku to factory settings before shipping. The device is also not possible to link to a new account if it is still linked to yours (unless you reset to factory settings). This one had old user's email address and credit card number stored on the device. Good thing I don't rent a lot of expensive movies! I have it plugged directly into the internet modem so I'm hoping that is the end of buffering.

Worth every penny
These mini transmitter-receiver devices are terrific for getting good quality audio straight out of the box. Attaching an even mediocre lapel mic makes the audio clearer and free of interference. A couple of notes: when attaching the receiver to an iPhone, there was a delay of a few frames when recording at 30 fps. You will need to re-sync audio after recording. The dead-cat cover for the built in microphone does snap on (with some effort), but opening the clip on the transmitter to attach the microphone to a piece of clothing will immediately dislodge it. These are minor complaints compared to the ease of use and versatility of these devices.
