110V New Model Fabric Cloth Cutter With 86.6" Rack and Digital Counter NEW

low price, fabricobble engineering, expect to get what you pay for.
The instructions are in chinese. There a a few pictures which helped me reverse engineer the thing in order to assemble it. I think all the threaded fasteners have cut threads. So in the process of asembling, tightening and loosening, which was made more difficult because of the rough notchy threads, a few fasteners partially striped threads. Assembly was made more difficult by having to use a tool to put the bolts in most places since they wouldn't hand tighten. Most of the materials are of the lowest quality materials you could find. The "bolts" are cut from the softest "steel" i've ever seen. I'm not sure anyone without a real mechanical sense can put this together with the indestructions they send. Overall it is made of low grade material, rather shoddily made and of questional usefulness. I was disappointed in the power of the rotary cutter. I had hoped it would be usable cutting the thin rubber sheeting I often use. I was stopped after an inch or so of the rubber. My current cutter will cut 4-5 thicknesses of rubber. This cutter will cut the naugahyde i cut almost daily. I will be able to get some use out of it even if it doesn't live up to my hopes. If you are cutting ordinary fabric and can get it assembled it will probably work for you - for a little while. I suspect the rotary cutter will not stand up to frequent and/or prolonged use. If you intend it for occasional light use you will probably be satisfied. This is NOT an industrial tool. A high school shop class could make you a better one, with bolts that didn't gall together.
