Minimalist, sleek, and solid and works women too!
I just recently discovered the Citizen Eco-Drives after getting annoyed at having to replace all my watch batteries at once. After some digging I found them. I'm not sure how I'd missed the Eco-Drive all this time, but no matter, I know now. This watch is lovely. It is so thin and sleek and hugs the wrist so it doesn't ride so high as to stick up and bang into things. The band is actually luxurious and of very high quality, with just enough weight to be substantial, but not enough to make you tired. ;-) Also, the gold on the band links is on a recessed portion of each link that shows when you're wearing it, but being recessed a bit, should not be seeing any wear over time. Pretty clever if you ask me. Finally, the size of 38mm is nice. I am a woman with a pretty average-sized wrist of 6 3/8 inches. so this would qualify as a big watch for me, probably as big as I would ever go. Once the band was sized for me, the watch diameter plus the lug length rides quite nicely between the bones of my wrist without twisting all the time, making it quite comfortable. Really really like this watch!
