Buggy App, Subtle Power Increase
3 of 3 found this helpful I’ve had Dinantronic Sport units in my 2016 Mercedes C300 and my 2018 BMW 430i. The IOS app is very primitive and prone to freezing up. To me, I had a hard time telling where the Dinan was producing any power over stock.
On the other hand, I just installed a Burger Motorsports JB +. Like the Dinan unit it’s a boost controller that underreports turbo pressure to the ECU. The ECU responds by increasing boost.
Unlike the Dinan, there’s a very clear increase in power and torque with the JB +. There is no app for the JB. A physical dial on the unit itself is used to set the extra boost. I’m at 75% .
What’s nice about the JB is that in normal driving it’s completely transparent, but dig into the throttle a little and it’s like a different car entirely.

Wow!
Having a thermostat is AWESOME. Before, when I wanted to change the temperature I had to go in the attic and yell at the HVAC system...It literally NEVER WORKED. Now I have buttons!
