I used one of these when visiting a friend and loved it, so I had to get one for myself! Tons of power in a compact footprint, and isn't 'overly' noisy. By comparison my parents had a vitamix that made great smoothies but was much too big and loud - The Beast makes equally great smoothies but fits in a smaller kitchen & isn't nearly as loud.
It was well packed, the mfr box had one tiny ding in it (which is no doubt why the price was so good). The blender works & looks perfect. =)
