Basically a cheap smartphone with quality OS and tiny keyboard.

The screen is vivid and clear. It comes with some minor issues though, like the gestures light is always on and the touchscreen isn't sensitive enough.. I hate this phone's the keyboard. It's very cramped; makes it difficult to type fast or accurately (and I do not have large hands). Don't get this phone if you desire App variety. There aren't many apps in the catalog. The operating system is, in my opinion, better than Android; operation is "cleaner" without all of Android's home-screens. The cards feature is pretty great. I do miss Android's widgets though. My least favorite feature of this phone is that you have to use data to log into or create a Palm Profile; it doesn't work if you try to use WiFi. And if the phone is locked, you cannot do anything with the phone until you are logged into a Palm Profile. Very inconvenient. Basically it's a nice cheap smartphone with a quality OS and a tiny keyboard. Too bad it can't handle the latest version of WebOS. I may be purchasing the pre3 next.

Great Phone

I love this phone. It does everything I need it to do. I only have a few apps on mine. It runs great. Going to upgrade to the new 8530 soon, just for more memory.
