Sturdy Product
This clam shell spring compressor is well made and feels very sturdy. It has good weight to it and doesn't feel like it's made cheaply (this is also a con). Because of the added weight it makes it hard to work with if you need to work with it off the bench or floor (vertically say in a vise). The threaded rode which closes the clam shell seems to be of good quality and thick (make sure to keep oiled). The locking pins are a great feature to add the extra layer of safety. It also comes with 2 jam nuts so if the threads on the rod do strip while compressing you have the jam nuts to stop the spring and clam from fully opening on you, there is also red oval ring piece that goes over the chrome post when while the spring is compressed to add an extra extra layer off safety (lots of safety features).
Cons
*No instructions come with it.
*Heavy weight makes it hard to work in vertical situation.
*does not work well with MCPHERSON suspension.
I bought this to work on my Mercedes Kompressor Sport and I was not able to get the spring compressed enough to get the top have of the spring cup back on. I had to take it to a shop and have it done for me. With that said I do feel this will work well with cars that do not have the McPherson suspension. For the price you can't go wrong and it's a lot safer to work with then those death sticks.

Great Product/Fair Price
I've been buying these pads for some time and never had any issue. They offer long life and extreme bite for those looking for great stopping power. The compound is a little rough on the rotors but I'll take that over not stopping in time for those close call moments. If your looking for a good pad set at a fair price then this is it.

A Must Have
1 of 1 found this helpful This by far is one of the better products out their. This heavy 10 oz bar end weight has eliminated verturally all vibration in my handle bars. The quality and finish are superb. Fitment and hardware we right on the money and while it does come with its own hardware I didn't need to use it to fit within my OEM application.i would recommend this product to any rider who is experancing numb hands while out in rides.
