Great value. Would purchase again ... if it lasts, we'll see.

Great price for the capacity. Of course we'll have to see if it lasts, that's always the issue with these things, although I've been fortunate that most of my external drives are still running, some more than 5 years old, I have several Toshibas, several WD and a few Seagates. They have all done well. I hope my fortune lasts with this one.

It is truly a lot faster than the old one.

It cuts the charging time by at least a half. The indicator lights are more detailed than the old one as well. I imagine, because it is Eneloop that the life of the battery being charged, that is, the number of times it will charge successfully remains the same. Some other company's battery chargers supposedly quick charges in 15 minutes but kills the batteries after a few uses due to heat build up during charging. This is really a solid upgrade to the old Eneloop chargers that took maybe 6-7 hours to fully charge.
