A dinosaur book for kids of all ages!
This BIG dinosaur book was instantly my favorite back when it first appeared in the 1960's and my own childhood copy was only the 2nd printing. I would lie on my bed for hours looking at the realistic and often dramatic illustrations, and go back in time millions of years! Still awesome all these years later, despite some outdated "facts"---this copy from 1981 (then in its 22nd printing) is now thrilling my grandkids.

A loyal fan of the sturdy Lumix FZ47!
I received my first FZ47 for my birthday in 2012. It's been my favorite camera ever since. Rain water shorted out that one in 2016, when I promptly bought a used replacement, which has been my primary camera ever since. It has some issues now (black spots on lens, etc.) so I bought this one as a backup---but now I'm using it exclusively, and it's as fine as new! This model still had the Leica lens, of course. I especially love the macro zoom setting. Thank you for including the "Case Logic" carrying case, which is an improvement on my old well-worn one. I'm happy!

Beethoven to the Rescue
This set of the three Op.31 sonatas has something for everyone. The best-known is probably no.17 in D Minor, known as the "Tempest"---a name Beethoven did not give it. The least-known may be no.18 and it's one of my favorites. It's in 4 movements, like a symphony. If the final movement doesn't energize you and put a smile on your face---nothing will. I'm not a major Brendel fan but he shines in this excellent recording.
