great toddler toy for either boy or girl

I bought this toy for my 12 month old grandson. He is just starting to imitate other people's actions so I thought this would be perfect for him. Pouring the tea into the cups and pretending to drink is something he is almost ready to do. The more advanced features like matching the colors of the tea and cake, counting, etc are activities that will keep entertaining him for a long time to come. Meanwhile, his 8-year-old brother is having so much fun showing the younger one how it works. Since they are growing up in a bi-lingual family, the variety of talking phrases are really going to help their English. The set seems to be very well made, is bright and colorful, and I had so much fun watching the kids play with it and pretend to serve and drink. Although I would have preferred a more neutral base color (other than pink), the changing colors do make this a pretty good gender neutral toy. Well done, Leap Frog!

Acrylic glasses by Tupperware

I love these pretty pastel colored glasses! I used to have a set of these a long time ago. They do get scratched after years of use but they do last a long time. These smaller sized ones are just perfect at lunchtime or snack time. And their stacking capability means they don’t take up much space in the cupboard.
