    You feeling lucky??
This unit has serious issues that made it totally unusable for me. First: The IR remote control signal (pulse code, I guess) had serious crossover problems with my other remote controlled components...all of my monitors (two are TVs and the other a projector---All three are different brands(approx. $7,800.00 total!: not off-brand ) and my OTA/Cable tuner box which is a cheapo responded to 5 or 6 of the signals from the remote : Each component responded differently to several different buttons on the remote. I could have just blocked off the IR receiver on the switch, BUT, as I am not willing to have to go across the room to switch the inputs, this is not an option. Kinda' a crapshoot, depending on your equipment, as to whether or not you will have this problem or not. Second: I had all kinds of EDID problems with this switch. both audio and video. I was able to remedy this by locking in my equipment's needed settings using EDID emulation on my GPU outputs to the switches inputs. This prevented the switch from communicating the EDID data, as interpreted by the switch, from it's output back to the sources connected to the inputs on said switch. Not everyone has hardware with this option, so, watch out if you try this switch--damage to your equipment could occur. --- much more likely that it just won't work correctly! If not for the problem with the remote I'd have used this switch. I thru mine in the trash...just couldn't bring myself to resell it to someone else. Purchased a different one that was plug and play...no problems what-so-ever, and, as a matter of fact; it was, actually , allot cheaper and simpler to use. Hope this info. is helpful; Kelly Newell
