Just what we needed
1 of 1 found this helpful I didn't buy this unit for quality of sound, we bought it to monitor a digital recorder in a three stage process. The recorder is a Sony and we wanted a unit that would fit the input of the recorder. We use high quality headphones on the initial and final step in the process.

Endurance and versatility
Before I purchased the tool I looked at several reviews of as many as 25 oscillators. The two areas that separated the average from the good to the very good were endurance and versatility. Bosch had the advantage of the Starlock Plus which made switching from one function to another real easy. This addressed the versatility issue. The endurance issue was, hands down, the AC powered units vs battery powered units. AC won every time. These were the factors that determined my decision to buy the GOP40-30-B.
