WNDR3800 - still the king of Wireless-N
1 of 1 found this helpful If you do NOT need 802.11ac and are happy with 802.11n, then this is the router you want. These sold for a mint when they were first introduced back in 2011 and now you can buy them for 20-30 on eBay.
I have owned many of this exact unit (WNDR3800) and have provided many of them to family and friends as solid troublefree upgrade units when flashed with the FSF-endorsed libreCMC firmware.
Fast 680Mhz Atheros SoC, 128MB RAM, dual band a/b/g/n with great range, easy to flash and impossible to brick. I can't say enough nice things about the WNDR3800.
