When a 3.5mm Mono is plugged in, the output measures a short circuit. The adapter appears to require a 3.5mm Stereo plug input.

It does not operate as described.

It does not operate as described, and it came with minimal directions. As a flashlight it is fine and very bright. But the light comes on any time you get near it, day or night, and this is very annoying. When the power goes out, the bright light should turn on to light up the house. It does not. Only the very dim blue light comes on when power is lost. I put tape over the movement sensor to defeat the annoying feature, and I hope to salvage at least a little usage out of it.
