Brings back memories!
I bought it as a gift for a friend who grew up in London. She loves it; brings back great memories.

A great, fast-paced joy ride!
Sue Carpenter keeps you on the edge of your seat as she recounts her wild experiences dodging the FCC and a few crazies to pursue her passion for pirate radio. I liked this book so much, I bought copies for friends and former journalism students. It's now one of the featured books in my classroom/newsroom. I even found a guide on eBay for setting up a pirate radio station -- though I doubt I have the spunk and courage Carpenter displays in this great book.
