Awesome Boonie!
1 of 1 found this helpful After a day of torrential rains, my old boonie proved to be a better sponge than head cover, so I decided to look for a waterproof model with a wider brim. Presto! Tru Spec came through with flying colours with this beauty. The 3-layered approach can't be seen, but it can be felt. This boonie weighs more than my old one, and it gives the cover a solid, well-built feeling. The stitching is tight and clean...no bits of thread hanging off the seams. My sole complaint is that the "one size fits all" design leaves room for improvement...I wear a 7 1/2 to 7 5/8 cover, depending upon the maker, and I find this one a bit snug...on the plus side, it's not uncomfortable, just snug. That surprised me, but then my friends are always telling me I have a big head :-)
