Great Sammy Davis Jr. vehicle
Surprisingly good film from Black cinema 1960's showcasing Sammy Davis Jr's tremendous talent, with a memoral performance by a young Cicely Tyson, and including an interesting appearance by Frank Sinatra's son (Frank Jr.). Engaging plot with fresh unpredictable dialogue. Davis's character is a complex, complicated trumpet virtuoso bent on self-destruction.

Disappointed
Very disappointed. Much to complicated to be in the Dummies series. I had trouble grasping any practical applications. Found myself serching around a lot and not having much luck.
