Unable to charge phone with case on

Unable to plug charger in unless I take the phone out of the case. I love the case so that is what I do every time I charge the phone. It appears their is not enough clearance from the top of the case to the top of the charger port. There is enough on the bottom, however, both top and bottom are needed in order to engage charger to connect.
