Great bass, stands the test of time.

I bought my first I8D4 in 2014 and put it in a pre-fab 0.75 cu. ft. ported box with 300 watts RMS. Loved it, especially in my car's small trunk. Over time, I kept on adding more and getting better boxes and amps as I could afford. I now have 3 total in a custom 2.25 cu. ft. ported box in my SUV. Giving all 3 about 1300 CEA-rated watts total and they are just about perfect. The 8's can play the upper bass frequencies well, and they stretch down to a realistic 27 Hz on music thanks to the enclosure. Rock, EDM, blues, rap, jazz, classical, country...they all sound amazing and I can hear the nuances in each type of music. I enjoy driving thanks to the way my vehicle sounds, and these subs are the stars of the show. IA doesn't make the 8-inch version of the I-series anymore, so these are a bit of a classic - but I am never giving them up and I haven't blown one yet. 5 years and counting...

Not too much bass, not too much space

Got this for my son's car for graduation. He likes it and so do I. Sonic made it easy to order and I have decent install skills so this was right up my alley. Cerwin Vega's sub plays great, easy to blend with the factory sound system. I would order again, this time for the wife's ride.

Perfect replacement mic for my son's DEH-8500

We broke the old mic when switching the radio from my son's old car to his new one, this one works just like the old one but has a better clip for holding the mic on the dashboard. Installing hands-free Bluetooth so my son can keep his hands on the wheel instead of trying to hold his phone and drive is a no-brainer, and this mic is part of the equation.
