Virgin Atlantic Boeing 747-400 G-VLXG Ruby Tuesday Gemini Jets GJVIR1503 1:400

Accurate mold and paint marred by poor quality control
This is a very accurate and highly detailed rendition of the Virgin Atlantic 747-400 and features more details than is typically found in Gemini Jet models such as the inclusion of the humps on the top of the fuselage. Unfortunately the quality control is lacking; there is a noticeable paint blemish / smear on the bottom-right side of the front fuselage and one of the main landing gears isn't securely glued in place, causing it to hang out of its slot and wobble (I wouldn't be surprised if it falls off entirely in due time). The vertical stabilizer isn't centered in its slot either. Overall a good model, but I'd recommend going with Phoenix, JC Wings or Aeroclassics instead for their superior quality control and (usually) better attention to detail.

Excellent fit and finish
Good fit and finish. This model was from a time when Phoenix had better quality control, though it lacks some details compared to modern diecast moulds by competing manufacturers.
