Not compatible with Remington 870
The threads on the magazine extension do not match those on a Remington 870. If by some chance you are able to thread them using something like teflon tape, after about 7 rounds the barrel will go flying off along with the magazine extension. It also was also have failure to feeds. All in all I would not consider buying this extension, go with the real Remington 870 magazine extension tube. This was verified by two gunsmiths, the threads on the extension do not match the threads on the shotgun. Extremely unsatisfied on this one.

value version
This is a nice value version of the Recon Tanto. It has some noticeable differences; its hollow ground instead of saber ground, the unsharpened choil is absent, and obviously the steel is sk5 instead of aus 8 or vg1.

Gen 1 MCR1
This was the 1st gen of this model, the bottom row does not fold up and snap in. Awesome price, its fairly sloppy when I run my level 3 plate in it. All in all its probably one of the few rhodesian style plate carriers with an open back.
