Excellent Classic Aromatic Fougere
Normally, Bvlgari's Le Gemme line retails for $349.00 USD at top-end retailers such as Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdales. I was nervous at first to order this niche fragrance from eBay as I've heard that fakes abound in the grey market. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this purchase I made because it is authentic and discounted significantly. jocu1980 is a wonderful seller, and I received Malakeos in just two days after purchase.
On to the actual fragrance - this is a classic aromatic fougere done extremely well with geranium, lavender, oakmoss, guaiac wood, and musk beautifully blended. It is a long-lasting scent that starts off minty with lavender coming through during the dry down. It's reminiscent of classic barbershop scents of the recent past, but with more of a woodsy than soapy undertone. Designed to be reflective of the green malachite gemstone and the Ural Mountains area.
