I love these speakers!
1 of 1 found this helpful I have a Denon AVR-S900W with the Jamo 5.1 surround set S83 center S803 front and S801 rear surround. I also have 3 subwoofers a Dayton SUB-1500 Klipsch R-12SW and an SVS SB-1000 pro 12 sealed sub. I thought everything sounded really clear and crisp. But I found myself having to adjust the center channel level because I couldn’t hear talking on some movies and tv shows. After adding these S-809’s and setting them to large on my Denon and my S-803’s to front height on my Denon. These S-809’s where the missing piece of the puzzle. Now I don’t have to adjust the center channel. I can hear voices/talking just fine and it definitely filled in the midrange that I was missing! If you can find these speakers for around $300 buy them you won’t be disappointed.

Nice sub
This subwoofer produces a lot of sound if you want to add a sub to your home theater. And only need one subwoofer this is what you want. I have 3 subwoofers in my home theater. This Klipsch A Dayton Audio SUB-1500 15”and an SVS SB-1000 pro 12” sealed sub. I have the Dayton gain on halfway. And the SVS is in the rear of my theater and I use the app to adjust it according to what I’m watching for normal tv it’s usually set at half gain. But the Klipsch gain level is set at 1/4 because if I turn it up any higher then it overbear’s my other subwoofers. And pretty much the rest of my surround sound. This is a great subwoofer it does lack a little bit on the really low bass levels. If you want something to hit those low notes. I suggest the SVS 12. Or a 15”.
