Ineffective
Twice I have seen a mouse run through one side of the opening and out the other side!

Doesn't slice entirely through the apple
The center, where the blades meet the corer, is higher set than the surrounding frame, so you always end up with a small amount of Apple not sliced through. You have to put your fingers through the blades (!!!?!) to push it through completely.
Spend a little more money and get a good quality one.
