Test it yourself
Like everyone who writes a review about card-cutters, I was nervous about using it. First I tried it on an old dead SIM card. That worked - shapepwise. Then I tried it on a PAYG card that I wasn't bothered about - it worked, although I needed to scrape one edge a tad which was a little big to allow the new nano-trimmed-SIM to go in my phone. No problem, I can make calls perfectly.

Does what it says.
Works well. The original device I have is temperamental, and the repeater does exactly what I needed. You will need to find a USB power supply for it. I am using an old ipad charger.
