Amazing receiver in a small package.
Works great for weather balloon tracking with MYsondy software. I can track balloons out 50 miles or more,

A beginner DMR radio for cheap, but solid.
A beginner low cost radio for DMR. A bit daunting to program. Be sure to get the correct cable with the radio. Don't expect to program it with anything other than a computer. It appears the usb chip is built into the radio. It took me a couple days of farting around to build a codeplug, but that is common for DMR if you roll your own. I have a working cp, but not like I'd like it. Still it pairs nicely with a Pi Star hotspot, and I've learned a bunch about DMR. The audio is very clear, on DMR.

Pretty good for cheap.
I bought this to monitor my garbage cans in the back yard. There's been a critter of some sort knocking them over from time to time, and I want to see what I'm dealing with. After a couple weeks, I still haven't caught it, but I have about 1500 pictures of members of the family coming in and out of the driveway and entering and leaving the house. It works well, for about $40, if you include the cost of a memory card, I'm impressed.
