2 of 2 found this helpful In all honesty the system is very simple and easy to install. The worst part about it was getting up in my attic which has nothing to do with the system. I have 2 cameras on the front of my garage, 1 camera on my front door and another inside on a communal living room. The DVR took me a bit to figure out without reading the manual and playback took a bit of tinkering to understand. The true test will come in between December and February when there will be a chance that the temperature drops down to -10 or lower. The camera's are rated down to -4 so lets just hope they don't die on me.
I've had the system in place for almost 3 weeks and have had no issues or failures. I set my color resolution to automatically adjust after 7pm and to brighten the picture without me having to mess with it nightly. The 1 Terabyte hard drive will record continuously for 3 weeks before it starts to overwrite again, so if you have a incident you can back it up, view it and save it.
It is a decent system and I have a dedicated monitor on a wall mount for easy viewing. As said above, the true test will come in the winter when the temp drops.

1 of 1 found this helpful When you are pairing this to your vehicle you need to cycle the ignition from the off to on position 10x. You need to do this VERY quickly. If you have done it right your car will beep at you. If you are going through this process and not hearing the beep then you are not cycling the ignition fast enough.
Other then that the FOB was easy to pair and it works great.

Bought it to play Tecmo Super bowl from 1991. Had to refurbish the console but it works fine now 😋
