1 of 1 found this helpful It came a little bit more beat up than I expected it to. Most annoyingly, the screen cover towards the top is made up of two pieces, and I found that topest most piece kind of floppy, and when I open the laptop, the plastic would come kind of unhinged. This is primarily Lenovo's lack of foresight. For the screen cover to be made of two pieces, there is just two long bars on the inside of the cover that keep the top connected to the rest, but those bars are also made of plastic, and after many years of opening and closing the laptop by the edges of the screen (as you would naturally) those bars snapped, and so the top piece of the cover is floppy and comes apart sometimes.
This doesn't inhibit functionality, it's just an annoyance.
The battery doesn't last longer than 3 and a half hours. The hdd died after a month. And the trackpoint is left biased (as in it's easier to track left than right). I expected these kinds of things so I'm not overly bothered. It would have been nice to have a better gauge of the damage to the laptop ahead of time however.
