Surprisingly the design is superior to RRS
The design of this item is actually better than really right stuff, Kirk, or markins alternatives... it is lighter and uses an ingenius quick release system on the tensioner!!! However, it has 2 fatal flaws. First the inner liner is made of felt that will wear and eventually scratch your lens...it needs to be plastic. Second, the coating of the item is not durable and extremely cheap. Began flaking after first use. It's really too bad, item is stellar otherwise. Only buy this item with the assumption that you will be replacing it due to the powder coat wearing off.
