Great book!
This book is full of examples and illustrations of rocks, trees, buildings, flowers, grasses, insects, and birds. It explains the " Tao" of painting and the " chi" of the brushstroke. It has notes on the use of color. It is chock full of interesting information. Only drawback is that this incorporates three original volumes, making it quite thick and heavy even though it's a paperback. It might be handier to have it in three separate volumes, though it will nicely lie open on a table because of the weight.
It is probably one of the best books on this subject, and its historical significance is inestimable, and appealing. This book should be the BASIS of any library on the subject of ink painting!

Worthless Cookbook!
Don’t waste your money on this!!!! For some unknown reason, the author fails to give instructions for when to use natural pressure release and when to use quick release. This renders ALL these recipes useless! The cooking times are meaningless without knowing whether or when to quick release or natural release. I can’t even believe this book was published this way…..

Great stylus!
These styli are elegant, substantial, and precise, due to the finer tip. This is the best stylus I have found for direct drawing or writing on a screen. The pen tip is really nice too. Very smooth. The instrument has a nice hefty weight and a high tech look to it.
