Good replacement kit.
This rear drum bearing kit included a metal bearing. I was shocked, since many of the new dryers with rear drum bearings come with plastic ones. I installed it along with the receiver bracket and the dryer drum spun freely on it. The bracket housing for the bearing had a slightly different footprint than my original one, thereby slightly covering some additional holes on my heat shield. I thought that I needed those holes completely exposed, so I spent a bit of time grinding down the 'corner points' of the bracket. Then I learned that those holes weren't needed for any screws! Ha! I guess that I got to practice my metal work skills! The piece that I ground on was very heavy-duty & well-made.
