pool filter bad set up

the only thing wrong with this pool is that you can't just shut off the pool at a shut off point to change the filter. very difficult to change the filter we have to have someone in pool to hold a cover on the covers inside the pool because there is no cover. IF we don't do that and we go open the cover for the filter all the water comes out of the pool and you're starting over. :(
