1 of 1 found this helpful My OEM windows had cracked due to age on my 2003 Rubicon. Bought these due to the reasonable price.
They arrived very quickly. Several days earlier than expected. Nicely packaged with tissue paper between the two skins and over the outside of the skins.
The installation sheet which was included was very straightforward and I followed it to guide my installation of the new skins.
I had the skins in the house so they were approximately 72 degrees when I began to put them on my metal frames. I also used my wife’s hair dryer to warm the skins and followed the instructions as far as installation order. First three corners were easily installed and with the assistance of my wife and a shoe horn the final corner was fitted. I would not attempt to install these in the cold as they are a tight fit on the metal frames. They fit nicely and look great. Hardest part of installation was cutting the old skins off. Thank God I had some heavy duty scissors. Total installation time was approximately 20 minutes per side.
I will say again these look great and fit nicely.
I am unable to rate the durability of these as I just got them installed. The quality of the skins appears good so I am not overly concerned at this point in time.
