Aston Spirt Mics are the best bang for your Audio Bucks!!!
2 of 2 found this helpful I heard the sonic reviews of this microphone on Vintage Audio King and I was sold! I haven't had a chance to put it through a thorough test on several instruments, but I did test it out on a vocal. I love the mild and natural shelving filter that takes out just a bit of the boom; it's much less drastic than the filter on my UAD 4-710d preamp. I look forward to using this mic on guitars, drums, vocals and everything else I can try it out on. It's so versatile with its switchable polarities from omni, cardioid, and figure 8 patterns. And, the best part is the quality for the price. If you need a good all purpose mic and you’re on a slim audio budget, don't hesitate to purchase an Aston Spirit, or several.
