About
I've been on eBay since 1999. OG Buyer and seller. Since Ebay took everything under the hood I took a break. Resetting of all of our feedback was rather upsetting for those that aren't bulk eBayers, or pay for feedback schemes you see widely visible now. Now with a minimum of 13.5% fees, eBay is losing the marketplace war to Facebook Marketplace. I DON'T use Facebook Marketplace, Offer Up and other widely abused marketplaces that deal in fenced goods and company choses to look the other way. I'll use this platform, but until fees are dropped (some as high as 20% depending on type of good sold) I will be using eBay less and less. eBay - do better. Allowing crypto currency stable coins would be a start. Allowing major crypto currency purchases would break from the pack. Remember when you started accepting PayPal - that was a break through. Resting for 25 years on those laurels isn't working anymore.

Outdated, breaks even at $35k Bitcoin
1 of 3 found this helpful I run 5 and my electric bill for my house is $1000 a month. Do the math. And yes, take out $250 for "usual" household monthly electricity. That's over $150 a month in cost per unit on .11 kwh electric cost.
Estimate breaks even at $35k Bitcoin.
This is REAL world.
Recommendation:
Buy new generation of ASIC, or use your GPU to mine a different crypto than SHA-265. If you HAVE to mine Bitcoin, and have at least .10kwh, or cheaper electricity, then there is still some benefit to eek out of these older, but currently in demand ASIC units.
- or buy 2 S9, and merge them using the low power efficiency mode.
Speaking of which is why you are looking to buy an available model. That's because all the bitcoin machine manufactures would rather sell all their stock to the mining farms in China, and by the time you order one, or its available here, or delivered, its usually old mining farm equipment. Hence the "abundance" of Antminer S9, vs obtaining Bitmain's latest mining model (good luck finding one in this market. The simple fact that these machines doubled in value over the last month is part of the fact of limited supply. O
