Nicely padded, like the clamshell opening
Reasonably priced. Selected it because clam shell opening made it easier for me to load. Hauling around a 50+ lb. tuba across campus is never fun but this makes it manageable.

Makes Eggbeater pedals a good option for the road
Enables me to use Eggbeater style pedals on my road bike. Four sided pedal makes clipping into pedals that much easier.

Nice wheels for the price.
Well built, good looking set of wheels. Reason I did not give it 5 stars was that there was a little more wobble in the wheels than I expect for a new set out of the box. That said, perfectly functional (and hopefully durable too).
