Could be so much more!

I do love the colorbook....and plan to spend many hours coloring...But first, being totally ignorant of Mouse Guard, I have spent many hours pouring over The Mouse Guard books which I could get my hands on from the library. I was obsessed with identifying each page from the original comic books. I want to know who and what is the picture of, and I want to color as close as possible to the original piece. It has been an arduous task. D Petersen should have identified each piece. Some of the pics are awesome, but some are v mundane and a mystery to why he chose them. After pouring over the original comics, I am astounded that more of a variety was not chosen. Fantastic pages were ignored while including several boring, pointless (in my perspective) pages. Quite a few repetitive spreads with giant snakes...? Where O Where is a chance to study and color a fantastic pic of the ships or the hares they ride on....etc.
