This was a fantastic value. I've been wet shaving for years; this razor is fairly aggressive, so I would not recommend it to someone just starting out with DE razors. Experienced DE shavers would love it.

TOBS Eton College Shave Cream

Taylor of Old Bond Street (TOBS) website's fragrance description: "A beautiful masculine fragrance with dominant citrus lemon notes combined with fruity citrus notes of orange and mandarin. All this is blended with gentle floral notes that rest on a base of warm patchouli. Contains Lemon oil and Patchouli oil." Maybe it's just me, but along with the citrus I smell some Gardenia floral in there...subtle, pleasant. Performance wise, this cream is every bit as good as the other TOBS products I have tried. Develops a thick, slick, and creamy lather quickly, with zero irritation. I've been wet shaving for years, and TOBS is imo the best value out there; one tub goes a long, long way.

Rapira Swedish Supersteel DE razor blades

I've been wet shaving for many years, and I have to say not only are these Rapira blades a great value, but the shave is outstanding! My old favorites were PolSilver Iridiums at twice the price of these. With the Rapira Swedes, I get 5 three-pass shaves out of a blade, and every one is super comfortable and smooth. With the PolSilvers, 4 was the max, and frankly, not quite as comfortable as the Rapiras (I have a medium beard; really heavy in some spots and not in others). As with all things wet shaving, Your Mileage May Vary...recommended!
