Steering Stabilizer/Damper-RS5000 Steering Damper Front RANCHO RS5407

Perfect fit

I replaced the 12 year old steering stabilizer shock on my 06 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with the Rancho. The shock fit perfectly and was easy to install. The difficult part of the job was removing the old one, mine took a torch and a pneumatic exhaust hammer. Rotating and balancing tires and replacing this shock completely fixed my wheel wobble that had just started happening.

Great product with horrible instructions.

Very well made, beefy brush guard. For only weighing 190 pounds for the brush guard and the winch mount it's a great value and saves another 100 pounds over a full bumper replacement. The downside is the instructions are horrible! If you don't consider yourself a professional grade mechanic capable of figuring things out as you go then don't attempt this in your garage. I'm a 35 year retired aircraft mechanic, welder and fabricator and this thing gave me a fit.
