Multi-purpose
I bought this for photography but found myself using it for other purposes as well. Hanging a banner at functions. Amateur Radio antenna mounts (KA6PDY) also took it camping and used it to hang clothes to dry. So easy to put up and take down and store. Great buy!!

TomTom is the best
I say it is the best but I have only have a TomTom not the other brands. I got this one because I recieved one for my birthday. From the minute I opened the box it worked! I have used it all over Northern California. My wife loved it so much I bought here one for her B-Day off of ebay. It's her second love. Anyway It works great. It has it's problems with routing. It will give you routes all over the place except where you want to go. When you start driving it re-routes if you don't go the way it wants you to. Take in mind I have only had the TomTom since December 07 so, I'm still working out the bugs. One major problem it has is there are no real instructions on what everything means. There is a web page you can go to but still not very helpful. If you like to figure things out or go by trial and error then this for you. All in all I recomend it.

Like a Tank!
I’ve had the DR-605 since 1999. It’s been mobile,Base, and now my go box radio. Never had a problem with it. Mics yes Radio no! Great audio and small enough you can fit almost anywhere you need it. Great Radio. KA6PDY
