Just what I was looking for.
Just what I wanted/needed. Remote seems a bit cheap, don't know how long it will last???

Very nice little hand held for the money
Very inexpensive 8 watt hand held radio.
Still a pain to program, as most HAM radio hand helds are, but does as much as my $300+ other hand helds do. Inexpensive enough that I have no reservations about taking it on the trail on quad rides. Seems very durable.

Good to have for an emergency
I received one of these for my jeep emergency kit last Christmas. I realized that I needed one in all of my off road vehicles, so bought more. I haven't had to use one yet, but they appear to be well made and how do you put a value on something that will get you back from 30+ miles out in the out-back when you rip off a valve stem?
