Great Product - Will never use Monokote again.
1 of 1 found this helpful Gave a durable finish that will last far, far longer than tissue or silkspan. Does heat shrink (I was suprised at how sell it shrunk). Adds lots of strength to the balsa strrcture.
My only concerns were:
1) My planel is has a 16.5 inch wingspan, rubber powered model (Guillows Mk I Spitfire) and the covering was a little too heavy and hard to work on small, sharp corners. I wish there was a much lighter weight version (and there may be).
2) Because the cloth is polyester based, it is very hard to trim or cut when in place on the model. Always seem to get a ragged edge with an Exacto knife when removing excess material. Scissors work well, but this is a small model and not much room to maneuver the scissors.
