Nice Go-To reference for day-to-day use
This is a great "quick reference" with most of the critical go-to items you might need a refresher on. It isn't a replacement for the manual, but it really does help with day-to-day use when you might need a refresher on where to find a feature.

Hexalite = acrylic = plastic
1 of 6 found this helpful First off...the watch itself is very nice. The watch is much smaller than most on the market today (which is what I wanted since I have a small wrist). The band is terribly cheap...like something you would find on a toy watch for your 5-yr old (and wraps down around and underneath the watch)...it is crackerjack box basic (typical military). The tritium face works great...the tritium tubes appear to be about at their half life point in comparison with another watch I have...but easily visible in the dark...which is what I needed. What I really want is a watch with a crystal face. This watch is sold with a "spin" on the face cover ("scratch resistant Hexalite"). So...let's be honest here...that is just a fancy name for an acrylic or "plastic" face. So be prepared to have to buff it out for minor scratches and hazing...and you will have to just live with any deep scratches. It is utilitarian, but does keep very accurate time. I spent $15 on a nice green/brown leather watch band to make this a bit more stylish. I would have preferred a fully mechanical watch with tritium indicators (still looking for one) with a ruby crystal.
