Excellent rugged protection... but could be improved...
This case will most definitely provide adequate fall protection and protection from scratches to the screen. Screen response to touch and the Apple pencil are pretty much the same as if there were no cover on the screen. It does add a fair amount of bulk and weight to your iPad... but this is a rugged case, so that is to be expected. My only criticism of the product design is the following... in photos it appears as if there is a small compartment along one side to store the pencil... what this is actually, is a flap that can be peeled back to allow charging the pencil, but in no way does it allow storage of the pencil... which means you are still stuck carrying your pencil in some other way. If this case had room to store the pencil with your iPad, it would be the perfect rugged case.
